I Learned Something When "Vacationing" in Wisconsin . . .

. . . they have commercials for gun stores.  Something was very unsettling about it, especially when they had a sale on a big ass assault rifle for $1,500.  Is that a good deal?  More importantly, should anyone be buying one of those for personal use?

They don't have those ads in Chicago.  Have you ever seen one?  Just curious . . .

Here's the only one I could find on Youtube that looked legit, but it's not as funny as the Wisconsin one.  I do like that there's a lady's night.

What's even better is that once a year here, they have a gun sale, advertised on tv, at a big convention center!! Shit tons of guns! Cheap! What could be wrong with that?!

Here in Texas that's a fairly common thing. I'm in Houston and we have a "Gun Show" at least once every few months at one of the convention centers. As for the assault rifles, that's also a pretty norrmal price. The only people I know who have them are people who own lots of land and use them to shoot hogs.

Sybil: But I hope they check for gun permits and everything and don't just have a gun swap-o-rama for one and all . . .

Grand: Wait, shooting hogs? Like wild hogs? I hope not poor little farm piggies.
