Get a load of this dork asking the first incarnation of Pink Floyd why their music has to be so loud. This is a rare interview with Syd Barrett where he makes perfect sense all through out. He seems a little unsure of himself, but he's totally with it on this day. Poor Syd took too much acid and went nuts . . .

That clip was from before when David Gilmore joined the group, I'm assuming. That's when it got REALLY LOUD.
Heff: Yeah, this would be before Dave, but there was a brief overlap of Dave and Syd during the making of the 2nd album. How dorky is that host? I mean, even if you think the music is too loud, just find something else to ask that someone else may find interesting? He just couldn't his dorky mind off of the loudness.
